An International Conference » Innovation as a Function of Engineering Development - IDE 2011« was organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture University of Nis and held end of November promoting the experiences and new technologies in all fields and disciplines.

Through the Construction Cluster OPEKA-BRICK and the Construction start-up Cluster prospective, the LEDIB programme approach was presented at one of the numerous sessions. Mr. Zoran Zlatkovic, President of OPEKA – BRICK and Mrs. Ivana Lukic, President of the Start-up Cluster, introduced the participants the innovative approach of linking in advancement and promotion of the clusters and clusters members’ work, the very core of the continuous construction sector development in the South Serbia.

Due to the LEDIB programme support, large number of conference participants from the country and abroad was able to present the ideas and exchange the experiences on new technology achievements in civil engineering, thus contributing development of this discipline within Nisavski region.
