A delegation consisting of representatives of LEDIB Programme, Agricultural Advisory Service Nis, City of Nis Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Agrozem Advisory Agricultural Service of Nisava District will visit Aarhus, Denmark, from June 20 – 24, 2011. The visit is organized by LEDIB Programme.

Members of the delegation are agricultural engineers, agronomists and veterinarians participating in Agricultural Advisory Service project, as well as management of agricultural and advisory institutions.

The objective of this study tour is to get introduced to the way Danish Advisory Service operates and field activities, as well as to strengthen contacts for future cooperation in the area of agriculture and better understand the role of advisor in the process of agricultural production. Advisors will have the chance to learn about the advisors insurance concept, and strategies used in advisors and producers work processes. Special attention would be paid to sales and marketing, the choice of the best strategy and use of existing distribution channels in order to increase sale as a product of cooperation between producers and advisors.

Since LEDIB Programme and SPUNO Association, supported by Danish Agricultural Advisory Service, founded AGROZEM – Nisava District Agricultural Advisory Service, experience gained during the visit would be very important for its functioning, as it was established in order to be of service to agricultural producers.
