Business Club in Gadzin Han “Businesspeople – Power of Every Municipality”

On Friday, July 13, 2012, the Business Club 2012 “Businesspeople – Power of Every Municipality”  was held at “Branko Miljkovic” Public Library in Gadzin Han. The results of conducted Questionnaire on the problems businesspeople are facing and which kind of cooperation with the local government they want were presented at this meeting.

The Business Club was organized by the "Zaplanje" Association of Businesspeople and  "ZA!" Association of Business Women from Gadzin Han in order to improve the cooperation of the local government and businesspeople from Gadzin Han Municipality through increased inclusion in solving of numerous problems they are facing through operations of the Associations. Municipality of Gadzin Han and the LEDIB Cluster House provided funds for this event.  Representatives of Opportunity Bank, JUG Regional Development Agency, National Employment Service and other institutions attended the event. Among other guests, there were also representatives of Association of Business Women Nis, as they support each activity undertaken by their members – in this case "ZA!" Association of Business Women of Gadzin Han.

Dragana Mitic, President of  "ZA!" Association of Business Women of Zaplanje welcomed guests, and presented the results of the Questionnaire. In his speech, Dejan Ignjatovic, Deputy Mayor stated that the existing cooperation with businesspeople should be even better in the upcoming period.

The Business Club was followed by “Taste of Zaplanje” competition, organized by the Association of Businesswomen of Zaplanje and Association for Preservation of Tradition, Rural Tourism Development and Hiking “Zaplanje” of Gadzin Han. Donors of presents for winners of the competition were the Opportunity Bank, Trnava Mill, Resor from Gadzin Han and "Bio-humus" Association. Participants of the competition prepared traditional dishes and sweets. Biserka Sarkovic from Donji Dusnik won the first prize, Dragan Miljkovic from Gadzin Han second, and Dobrunka Pesic from Gadzin Han the third prize. Other participants were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation.
