MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING on bilateral Czech-Serbian co-operation in the field of cluster development signed between National Cluster Association, Czech Republic and Cluster House, Serbia



Memorandum of understanding was signed on 2nd September 2015 in Novi Sad within the accompanying business mission of the Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka in Serbia with the aim of boosting the competitiveness edge of both countries through clusters.

Czech National Cluster Association and Cluster House will cooperate specifically in:

-         The aggregation and exchange of data on clusters, cluster initiatives and cluster organisations in both countries; sharing of knowledge, best practices and new concepts in cluster development suitable for transfer between the partners.

-         The networking and facilitation of inter-cluster collaboration across regions and sectors generating opportunities for business, innovation and internationalisation, with particular regard to SMEs.

-          Exchange of experiences in building cluster initiatives in new and emerging industries, improving cluster organisation performance by training and evaluation schemes, and optimizing cluster policy towards cluster excellence and effective capitalisation of values generated by managed clustering.

-          Joint organisation of and participation in the events and projects aiming at the partners’ priorities, national economic growth and the goals of the European Union’s cluster development policies.

-     Mutual promotion through logo links at the partners’ home pages, awareness building on the identified cooperation potential of the two countries and publicity of joint achievements kick-started by this Memorandum.

Memorandum of understanding was signed by Ms. Pavla Bruskova, President of the Czech National Cluster Association and Ms. Danka Milojkovic, Director of the Cluster House.
