Ph.D. in Economic Sciences in the field of project management of the cluster-based economic development applying the mathematical methods with the aim of taking more efficient business decisions. 

Over 15 year experience with SME development programs in the Balkans supported by international organizations DANIDA, LuxDev, EAR, BAS/TAM, EBRD, ADB, GIZ, UN/FAO, UNIDO. 

Author of the Cluster House Model for entrepreneurship development and project management in countries in transition and developing countries, networking and global market positioning. Initiator and coordinator of the Balkan & Black Sea Clusters Network – the biggest clusters collaboration platform in the region, the INFOCLUSTER journal and the internationalised Serbian brand conference DAYS OF CLUSTERS. 

Author and project manager of the Balkan Cluster project supported by EU IPA CBC BG-SER (2015/16). 

Author and director of the Balkan Cluster Conference “Days of Clusters“ from 2010 to 2012 supported by the Danish Programme for Local Economic Development in the Balkan LEDIB. Co-chairman of the conference in Sofia, Bulgaria (2013), in Tekirdag, Marmara Sea, Turkey (2014), in Brasov, Romania (2015) and in Ohrid, Macedonia (2016). 
The first President of the National Council of Clusters of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (2011-2015). 

The first Director from Serbia and Balkans of the Global TCI Network Board of Directors Barcelona, responsible for the SE Europe. Mentor, coach and trainer in the field of SME development, business incubators and clusters. 

Received prestigious national awards: “Success flower 2012” for the most successful women entrepreneurs in Serbia for affirmation of women’s entrepreneurship and “Captain Misa Anastasijevic” for starting and networking clusters in Serbia and in the Balkans (2015) and development of entrepreneurship and regional integration (2016).

Holds a M.Sc. (Econ.) from Copenhagen Business School, supplemented education with courses at Harvard Kennedy School in Boston USA.

Currently a president of the Cluster House Assembly in Nis Serbia based in Copenhagen Denmark. Director of the Local Economic Development in the Balkans LEDIB Programme in Serbia, Nisava District, Nis City (2008-2012), financed by the Danish Government. Responsible for setting up the LEDIB Cluster House Union and a key supporter of the international cluster conference DAYS OF CLUSTERS from 2010-2012 in Nis, Serbia.

Extensive professional business experience in top management, sales and marketing, entrepreneurship, cluster development, SME development, local economic development, innovation for economic development and project management. He has worked in several business sectors like pharmaceuticals, advisory services, electronics, mechanical engineering, and the agro sector.

Experience from working in large international companies, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and as a founder of entrepreneurial industrial enterprise within energy saving products.

Profound multi-cultural experience from living and working in Serbia, Germany and Mongolia, and from business travelling all over the world.

Received several gold awards for his work and efforts in Serbia.

Holds a B.Sc. Civil Engineering from Nis University Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, supplemented education with courses in PCM, PRAG, FIDIC at Danish LEDIB Programme, Nisava District, Serbia.

Owner and general manager of the construction company SIGMA Engineering Ltd Nis – design, building and selling over 25 years.

Supervisor of construction works and investment manager in numerous construction projects with the following references: Danish Refugees Council, USAID/CHF programme, LEDIB, City of Nis – Sport Hall “Cair”, etc.

Initiator and cluster manager of the Construction cluster „Opeka-Brick“ in Nis-Serbia (2008). Member of sectorial business membership organizations: Union of Engineers and Technicians Serbia, Association of Civil Engineers Nis and CSA Pirosi.

One of owners of the LEDIB Cluster House Union (2010). Currently secretary of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Regional Chamber of Economy Nis-Serbia.

Graduated manager of entrepreneurial management, responsible for improvement of cooperation with clusters, businesses and business support institutions in Serbia. Experience in designing and implementing policy of attracting foreign investments and linking SMEs with foreign partners. He is a Coordinator on cluster development activities of the Balkan Cluster Project, implemented by the Cluster House and supported by EU IPA CBC BG-SER. He participated in preparation and implementation of national and international projects in the field of development of industrial clusters and strengthens of SMEs’ competitiveness in the region and gained consultant experience in working with international organizations (UNIDO, GIZ, OECD).
